I WISH I could just say that and be all cool, but I can't.
SPOILERS FOR INHERITANCE!
So, because I was bugged off that they didn't even KISS, I made them. Because I can draw and pretty much do whatever I want. (They also shed the tears they held back!!!!)
You can take this anyway. Either Arya stays with Eragon or they still part ways. BUT at least they kissed and we GET SOMETHING.
Not that I'm discounting the true name exchange... That was nice and I LOVED it. I just kinda waited...for THIS. And it never happened ;-;
Like, all I needed was a kiss, and Eragon leaving Alagaesia forever without Arya would have been less....heartbreaking?
And I want none of you "This didn't happen" losers. Obviously, thanks tips.
And yes, I still liked the ending.
And YES, Eragon is like eating her. Look at those tongues guys. None of that sweet kissing nonsense, they're going all out.
Would you have it any other way? ....Besides them doing the nasty. I'm sorry, young viewers who I may traumatize, but I regret nothing. You should all know this by now.

I agree, and if I was able to decipher what he was saying when Eragon first offered to tell Arya his true name is that Sharing your True Name is a way of becoming Mates. So maybe they are now Mates, at least thats how I'm going to be looking at it.
Another is that in the future Arya abdacates the thrown to someone else when she learns that the crown neither pleases her nor does it bring her happiness (happiness that she can have with Eragon, and Firnen can have with Saphira) and that a rider should not rule, as Paolini had said throughout the series, which to be honest I'm suprised that Glaedr and the other Eldunari didnt voice this when Arya said she had taken the crown.

Seriously. I just finished the book the other day and while I was reading it my husband was asking me if they had kissed yet. Even he was expecting that.... So yeah, a scene like this would have been nice... or even a short kiss, just something on the mouth... Thanks for sharing your art!

I pretty much read the entire book anticipating their kiss. Then it was over and there was no kiss. So sad and such a waste ;-;

I just got back from meeting Christopher Paolini, and he said hat there may be a fifth book, and it may continue from where it left off. I wrote him a letter in the spring and he remembered who I was! It was soooo cool!!!!!!!!!!!

He really said it! But he would do it in a few years, because he wants to try some new styles of writing. And he also said that in the Inheritance deluxe edition there's going to be a new map of Alagesia with a lot more places on it!
