THERE. DONE. FINISHED.Just for the record, I had Astronomy until 10pm tonight (or last night now) and I came home and sat here for a good 3+ hours to finish this. Graahh....yet I'm not tired....hmm.
ALRIGHT. So this can be any generic Eragon and Murtagh fighting for whatever reasons and such. However, their wounds do reflect their battle that takes place at the end of Inheritance (as does their surroundings).
There's one flaw to that, which I'm sure a number of you will jump at the chance to "inform me". So I'll beat you to it.
Which is: they don't use magic in this fight. So why is Eragon using Brisingr?
Because I want artistic license man, and it looks a lot more exciting this way, trust me. So yes, I know. Besides I think it defines them both a lot more, like, as riders. And I haven't drawn Eragon with a flaming Brisingr in ages :C
I don't know.
Despite this blazing flaw I honestly think it makes the art piece.
So yea, an epic fight between our lovely brothers. Enjoy~
Also, damn, I think I did a good job making them look handsome and sexy man.
And I'm going to go watch my new episode of Guilty Crown now. I deserve it.
PS: Eragon is still sexier.

The way the artist has drawn the characters is a very unique style which shows the artists way of drawing. The textures of the armor are made very well. The cloth on each percent flows naturally. Face details are crisp and clear, giving the characters a sort of feeling. The background suggests them being in a dark and ominous setting. the flames on Eragon's sword are well done. Both characters are in good action poses, giving them a sense of activity. The originality of the picture is very well done, making the drawing very hard to forge or reproduce. Overall the impact of the drawing details the battle very well, and represents the story of the Inheritance series well, however it could be generalized with almost any of their battles. I have read all the books. This art ROCKS THE HOUSE!

This is really really good! I love the position, the blood, and the "blue and red aura" with them. Murtagh is kind of desperate as in the book and Eragon is determinded too. Nice nice!!

The drawing is pretty awesome but didn't RhunΓΆn said in the third book that Brisingr is a little bit smaller than Zar'roc? But it could be worse.
I like the coluring of the pic especially Brisingr's. I love this blue :3

I like it a lot, to the point where this is pretty much exactly how I pictured it while reading (yes including the use of brisngr even tho that wasn't possible). The only other thing that I noticed was the handle or Zar'roc seems a bit off. Since the blade seems to be coming out of of the dragons mouth, in my own head, and looking at the position of his hand as he's holding it, I think the head should be right side up, not saying it looks bad this way, I actually really do love this piece, just that;s how would have down it different

Haha very well done! I finally finished reading this book a few days ago and I thought of your Inheritance Cycle related art pieces! Particularly the one where you describe the physical traits you imagined Eragon sharing with Brom. I thought it was funny since you imagined him with Brom's nose but when Eragon visits Brom's tomb he notices he doesn't have Brom's nose but Selena's. I just thought it was funny that that scene reminded me of your work lol anyway great job!

Actually, I was going to criticize you on Eragon's hair color, not the use of magic.
So I'll just get right to it; he's got golden hair. I am not going off the movie, I'm just saying.

I just always imagined him having short golden hair (under a helmet, mind you,) and Murtagh having long, black hair to distinguish him from Eragon.

LOL, no worries. I just found it funny that someone was correcting his hair when it was right. Mostly because so many people draw him with blond hair due to the movie. Blond eragon is a bit of a pet peeve of mine.
If I were to draw him with blond hair, people would probably roast me alive.
