I've been working on and off of this for a couple days!

This is a scene from book 1 of Project FALL (the series I am writing) and is a scene I have coming up that I have to write. This was meant just to be a tool to get some lines down. Which will probably change when I actually write the scene.

Here we have Angelie escaping from somewhere with Blaze Firestorm and Dedric, a leader of a group of thieves in this port city.

He remembers a spell he was taught to him when he was 10 (on his birthday actually) and uses it to signal Akiore for help. They're kinda like fireworks, and that's what people use them for during celebrations. It's a pretty sight. The sky filled with the lights of hundreds of people's souls.

I'm not sure if Angelie will be better off when Akiore, Jillian and co find him though.

Angelie has a rough life as a prince.

Also, this city is outside of his kingdom's land. He's not wearing his usual clothing so people wont know who he is, as well as what race he is.

Angelie and all the guys in the last panel are Angelus, and children of the Sun. So they have wings. Dedric and the citizens of Coll and that entire region are a mixed race. Humans and Angelus. They look exactly the same, except because they have human blood (the children of earth), the earth counters the sky blood in them, and they don't have wings. The Wingless are not permitted to live in Angelus cities, so that their blood will not exterminate the the Angelus.

Blaze is half child of fire though, the other half being a child of the sun. So his race's features are less defined. A full blooded child of fire looks different.

And that's enough of an info dump!
