I like the dark tint of this drawing and the high contrast! However, I miss some really fine hair (with mechanical pencil) on the forehead and also the catΒ΄s whiskers could be finer.. but thatΒ΄s just details

That cat is pretty well done. I wonder what are the pro of mechanical pencils over traditional ones. I see lots of artists using those? And wasn't 3H a bit too rough ? Did you use it for the sketch or for adding details or something? Nice anyway.

Thank you! Yeah, they are a great tool if you want to make small and sharp details. I started to use mechanical pencils less than 2 years ago... Before that I used to work with traditional ones only.
3H was for the sketch and some very pale shades. I've noticed that the roughness depends on the brand so this one wasn't too rough. But yeah, I handled it very gently while doing the sketch so that the paper didn't get any unwanted damage.

Thanks for the details. I don't like mechanical pencils because of the grip, and no sharpening :/ I'm too much used to classical pencils. As for 2-3H pencil, yeah, gotta be gentle with it, otherwise there are like 'scars' on the paper, and doing some blackening with 2-3-4-5+ B pencil, you end up with some nasty relief printing like

I'm really blown away.. just amazingly well done. The way you indicate the direction of the fur and her hair.. the textures, all so beautiful and distinct. Excellent!

Very detailed. Would love to see more brightness and some highlight on the hair, but shadows are done really well. You are a really skillful drawer!
