Description
These were really hard to photograph, but they look amazing in real life! I cast and then coldworked these little glass oranges, using a variety of techniques to make them look as real as possible. The outside rind of the orange wedges is opaque and has the same spotty texture as a real orange. The inside is clear and allows you to see the texture of the white rind inside. I also sandblasted lines on the surface to make it look more real. I worked all semester on these and I'm super proud of them!Related content

I absolutely love these, oranges (and citrus in general) always look so cool in glass, but it is rare to find something this nice. How did you photograph these? As in - backdrop? I love how there is a spotlight effect, the black in the background makes this a very dramatic picture! wonderful work!
