Description
Something that just poped up in my head today... I guess it's the spring>_>Or I simply shouldn't stay up late in the night...
Anyway, don't take it serious, don't try to fix it (because it actually is a doodle), just enjoy as far as you can
Media: pencil, Painter8, something about 40 - 50 minutes
---------------------------------------- ------
EDIT: Redrawn a bit and a bit darker but still sketchy. This is the final version I guess...

Eowyn and Faramir are Β© J.R.R. Tolkien

"Honey, I should walk in front."
"Why?"
"You'll walk into a tree or something."
"No."
Time passes...
"Ough."
"Repeat after me, honey, Eowyn is always right."

Ehehe, Eowyn and Faramir are playing tourist. At least, that's what it looks like to me. XD
An unusual premise, but I really like it: it looks modern without changing the characters. Cute!

hehehe,... very nice for something that just popped into your head. The hair blowing in the wind is very nicely done. You capture the look of a true leisurely strole in there stride, like there walking on the beach, thru a park or just down the street!

Nivak In reply to AsellusKamijo [2005-04-24 07:44:38 +0000 UTC]
lol, I guess most people learn to use Painter all by theirselves, they don't use tutorials. If they don't know how to do something they ask good friends about it but only good friends if you know what I mean.
And yes, there are a lot of tutorials for PS. I use PS CS and I learned how to use it by myself. My friends helped me out sometimes.
It means you have to look for those tutorials all by yourself (you do know that there are tutorials for PS on dA? maybe there are tutorials for Painter too?) or experiment with the program.

oh. . . .T_T...u're so mean....
truth is: people learn fast when guided by someone, than beins learning alone....
but anyways....thanks for your guidance.

Nivak In reply to AsellusKamijo [2005-04-24 17:17:04 +0000 UTC]
Yup, I know I'm mean.
It is sometimes better to learn by yourself then ask someone for help who doesn't know how to help you. And it's embarrassing to keep asking =_=

*giggles* I love the way Faramir looks so wrapped up in his book and Eowyn seems very talkative and poor Far is probably going to get a scolding at some point for not paying attention to all she's rattling on about. She probably dragged him away from his books to get some fresh air and he's a bit disgruntled about it all. The expression on his face looks exactly the way my face feels when I'm lost in a book and someone's trying to force me to do something else (like grocery shopping...I have loads of memories of being grocery shopping with Mum and trying to read at the same time and succeeding in toppling over and crashing into countless objects). Hee. And putting them in modern clothing is very cute. Somehow the clothing fits them. It's also interesting to see Faramir as the more moody one and Eowyn as the happy one for once.

I love it, so peaceful, so charming. I love the guy, how he's walking and reading, and even holding her hand. I dunno if spring, the almost-sepia tones dun tell me which season, but it doesn't matter
