Thought I'd upload some older stuff (give people a break from TMM, maybe?)Anyway, this is my favorite PokΓ©mon in colored pencil. I'm proud of my colring job here. The bg, as usual, was done on the comp.

Yeah, colored pencil. I blended it a little on the computer, though. My more recent colored pencil art (the single Mew Mews with the white backgrounds and "The Shirogane Boys") I don't do that with anymore, though, so it's just straight-up colored pencil characters with a computer background.

This great drawing of yours... It's in this month's issue of an Italian PokΓ©mon magazine I read, as well as some others that were found on DA. I'm not sure whether the authors asked for your permission to use your picture. I assume they didn't, although I hope this is good news for you. ^^"

No, they didn't. ._. That's kinda rude, although it's nice to know my art is now... international? You'd think they would have asked, but I guess if they had gotten permission from DA itself it wouldn't matter... O.o That's still weird, though.
Would you happen to have a scan of the page, though, or know of where I could get a scan, or atleast the title of the magazine? X-x;;

No colorless blender. This was done in colored pencil, so I probably have used some white to blend/shine it up, I think I also smoothed it up on the computer a little.

Yeah... I knew it was in colored pencil... I just don't get how ya can get your drawings to come out looking so smooth... Mine are always rough and, well, you get the idea.

Well, Prismacolor pencils tend to be really soft and easy to blend. If you press down hard enough, you get a pretty solid plastic-feeling layer of color.

I like the white glow around the Vulpix and this is colored very well.
