I agree. But maybe Ashfur DID go to the DF, but then found out what he did and repented. Then StarClan let him cross over because he no longer carried those bitter feelings. -shrug- It's a theory.

this is great. Great artwork, true point to it, and good comparison. Also, I agree that although I don't hate either of them I do like thrushpelt better. He went through the same thing as ashfur but held it all in and even protect bluefur when she gave birth to oakheart's kits.

I don't remember the book saying anything about Ashfur helping Hawkfrost, but then again it would make sense.
Ashfur would reveal that Brambleclaw killed Firestar, Brambleclaw would be exiled from the clan, and Ashfur would get Squirrelflight all to himself.
