And sadly this is supposedly getting remade at some point, I hope Disney does not butcher it the way they've been butchering their classics with live-action remakes.
Had Walt himself was alive during production of this film he wouldn't probably even bother remaking it but probably would attempt a sequel to this great film, heck it could have even gotten a trilogy that could have competed with Back to the Future.

Yeah, it was a nice and cute movie, but the part when he was going home was saaad...(seriously funny movie though XD )
and oddly enough, that ship looked more alien/outer spacey than those huge shiny blinking ones i think... and the part where he (the little boy, i already forgot his name D: ) asked ''why me?'' i said like ''YEA! why not me???? i want to know a robot like that...
