I know I won't get many favorites for this, but I worked so hard on it.. Dx

So I know you veterans/army fanatics will critique this hardcore (I say that cause two army friends already told me what I got wrong.

1. I know with the salute, the fingertips need to be at the eyebrow, but fingers are hard, yo.
2. The uniform's camouflage needs to be lighter (cause the Army's changed their uniforms since the times of the picture took the reference from). Plus, I don't even think it's the right uniform design. But again, the reference I took it from had that style.
3. "You're not an E4, you don't have a rank yet." Yes, I know. I made that my rank cause that's what I'm working towards (first, anyway) when I get in the Army.
4. The flag isn't precise. the blue part's a bit too big. There aren't enough stripes and stars. I was going towards a close-up look of the flag, and this is my first time working with the line tool on my drawing app.

It wouldn't have taken me so long if I wasn't trying new tools while I was drawing/coloring. And since this is a military-based drawing, I wanted to get every detail right before posting it. But of course, I couldn't exactly get everything right. I respect the military too much to screw up on it.
Plus- People are mean when you get something wrong on things they like..

Well, those are my critiques. I have a ton more (the pose is a bit off, the eyes are a bit wonky, the smirk looks weird, etc.), but I'll leave it at that. I have work in 3-4 hours, and I need to at least get some sleep. Hope you like all my efforts in one picture!
