OH NOOOOES OH DEAR WHYYYYYYY
I just realized I never put up my avatar pictures!!!!!!! GWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

this was my halloween costume

I was neytiri from Avatar!!!!! WOOHHHHH!!!

Pretty much everything here was made by yours truly. I bought a blue bodysuit, hands and feet included, and painted all of the avatarish lined on it. I painted it while I was wearing it, so it wouldn't stretch out weird... let me tell you, the CONTORTIONS I was getting myself into. painting the lines on my thighs... BEHIND myself.... painting my right arm with my left hand.... ugh. and the paint soaked through to my skin, so when I took off the costume I myself had blue stripes HAHA. the loincloth was a shammy shirt I cut up. the necklace is made up of beads, feathers, and cork. that weird thing also as a necklace, I believe in the movie it held her dagger, is made of leather and I wrapped it with some straw stuff... you know that you can wrap packages with? I painted elf tips blue for my ears haha. I braided that darn durned hair UGH IT WAS SO HARD. I never had braided anything before, and it was SO HARD. it kept on moving, and coming apart.... the one bracer was a piece of leather, but to get it to stay that swirley shape I glued it to the suit. the other bracelets and shoes were store bought. I had yellow contacts. I also made a nose piece type of thing (like I did for that vampire costume) out of blue clay (I had to paint over it anyway) and attached it with some good ol tacky glue, so I had that foreign avatar face look. I painted my face. Too bad the pictures were taken after a day at school, so the paint wore off a bit. I didnt have any extra with me, ah unfortunate.

The pics were taken next to Cor's house. he lives next to a river, so its all foresty and amazing and fan frickin tastic. too bad that one tree has caution tape on it... FAIL.

I even had those lil hair connecty fibers at the end of my braid; it was a weed LOL.

ohhhh and my tail, I made that too We have a orange long haired cat (named cookie dude, by the way) and he gets all of these crazy knots that now we just cut out cause its SO MUCH EASIER THAT WAY, so the tuft of fur at the end is from the kitty XD. he didn't mind, promise.
