This was inspired by Malazan Book of the Fallen and a dream
Pencil. The dark part digitally corrected because it looked weird after scanning.

Rather! Erikson amazes me. I was getting quite bored with fantasy when I started them - but his 'realism' in creating the world and characters is breathtaking.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I was ready to give up reading fantasy all together. I was fed up with the same story being told over and over again. And then I found MBotF and it was like an answer to all my issues with fantasy. I sometimes feel like it's written especially for me

Yes, the lightbeams where made by a rubber. I first used my finger to smear a little of the dark on the light side - including making wing like shapes. Then I made lightbeams by erasing it
