For someone like me who lives in coastal Australia I don't see snow and find all your photos and icy artworks romantic.

Go to the page of the deviation that you want to display under 'Other recent work' Down on the right hand side under 'Share' you will see 'Link', 'Embed' and 'Thumb.' Cut the number in 'thumb' and paste into your artists comments. I hope this helps, let me know if you are still unsure. I have bookmarked your gallery to look at tomorrow, it looks great. I'm off to bed. It's 1.30am here in Oz

Although I've tried to display a certain stock image under my photomanipulation of it, using the thumb, but then I could only see the thumb written, and not the deviation displayed

Have you made sure that the number is enclosed by these symbols :
As in :0000000:

Um, the symbol was already in the thumb. I tried putting it one more time on each side, and got no change. I've still got it written in the artist's comment, - here, take a look - [link]
