A lot of my bead bracelets feature increasing and decreasing edges and use this stitch.

I apologize for this one being rather haphazard and more difficult to get into, but it's the way I work it, and with patience and practice it will eventually become fairly easy and intuitive.

After many a search, found this on Google and I must say, this is THE EASIEST guide for increasing I found. Thank you so much!!

You're very welcome. It's what I figured out for myself quite a few years ago now, and how I've been doing it ever since...

Now that I know I can successfully increase I'm going to try and do so with my own design I made but couldn't figure out. All the other guides I found only show increases on a single row, this was most helpful

awesome tutorial, I'll have to definately try one of your patterns now that you've explained how to increase and decrease.

now if only I can find the right size of bead.

Thank you! I think for first time I'd recommend either delicas, because their square shapes are so exact and the pattern will "sit" right, or size 11 seed beads, because they are a bit bigger than the tiny 15s.

Thank you for posting this! It was very helpful to me; my old way of increasing was very very sloppy, and the pattern books I tried to use were utterly useless on the subject. I used this to make some earrings, and they look a lot better than my other attempts at increasing peyote

Thank you very much for taking the time for feedback. I was quite nervous whether this was even remotely possible to follow, but I am glad you did and found the results worth-while. That's very encouraging!

that looks pretty good.
i don't do beadweaving, so i've never tried it, but it looks very informative.
i'll have to read it after i finish photoshopping all my pictures.....

It's really step-by-step, it's just so many of them...

Yeah, no kidding. I was making this along with actually threading a piece so I would be right on the steps and I was driving myself crazy going "I'm really doing this? I must be mental!"

I'm just waiting for the first flames from frustrated beaders...
