Description
(2000) between 5"x8" and 10"x13", pencil on paper. The three drawings were combined using Photoshop.This is a bit of an "oldie". I did a few drawings of Mr. Spock for a friend a few years ago as an art trade.
It's a very interesting face to draw: lovely mouth and chin to get your pencil round and of course those pointy ears and lovely slanting brows aren't half bad, either. (Thought I'll throw this in here before someone starts thinking I'm only drawing one guy obsessively...)

Beautiful! You have captured well his expressions and that exquisite jaw! The first one especially is very passionate. Great Job! I love drawing Spock too, with the fluidity between the arched eyebrows, gloriously pointed ears and square jawline. (sigh!)

Thanks so much! I must admit I'm quite partial to the first profile, too. It's from the scene in "All out Yesterdays" where Spock turns on McCoy trying to defend his relationship with Zarabeth.

One of my favorite episodes! And whenever Spock became emotional (happy, sad, or mad) it was pure Nimoy and a joy to behold. I hope he gets to see these; maybe you should tweet or FaceBook him!

LOL! I must admit I never looked him up online, but it sounds like a fun idea.
I guess because we got to see Spock emote so rarely, those moments always held so much interest. Plus for him emotions always seemed so overwhelming, which makes total sense for someone who normally deals by suppressing them, not by confronting them.
