Description (2010), 9" x 12", pencil on paper

Now that we're finally getting good Malfoy references from the upcoming HP movie, I was able to finish my set of three drawings of Lucius' transformation from dedicated Death Eater via Azkaban prison and some humiliation at the hands of his master to traitor and rather more dedicated family man.

Ich freu mich schon sehr auf den Film! Alles was ich bisher von Malfoy Manor gesehen habe, ist fantastisch! Ich denke, sie haben zum ersten Mal die Zeit, ein Buch richtig vernuenftig umzusetzen, ohne die starken Kuerzungen der Filme bisher...

Yeah, I was so afraid he was just you average baddie, who gets killed when the good guys win - to have this transformation, and have Narcissa be so instrumental in Harry's victory was terrific!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Having a somewhat sensible and vulnerable baddie is much more interesting.Especially if that vulnerability is his own kid. Shows that he's just like any parent out there even if he's evil.
