Description
This is my photo definition of 'Bug eyes' or 'bug eyed'.Why?
Because OMG did you see those eyes?????
I wish I could have gotten a cleaner pic of this bug so I could make it bigger, but it was so tiny, and thin....well, except for the eyes lol
edit~~found out this is a 'spinner' mayfly...basically they live for breeding alone

i don't know how you get such great shots, but i love them, even if i don't necessarily like the insect itself. lol.

thanks! its a mayfly, i'm not sure they are related to dragonflys at all. they are extremely tiny & usually green. this is the first 'spinner' i've ever seen i just usually see the normal green ones

I want to say it's a dragonfly, but not sure if it's small. This is a good image. I love the wings, but I have a fascination for wings, other than on birds cuz birds are just nasty animals.

i found out what it is....a Mayfly actually my first thought was that it was a mayfly, but that their eyes are not like that. apparently i haven't gotten close enough to a mayfly to notice...on some of them their eyes ARE certainly like that lol
here is another one i found in a google search: [link]
and apparently this is a male due to the huge eyes...guess i've only seen females before no googly eyes lol:
