So I was cleaning out my laptop and I found this one. I made it a while back when marriage equality was on the table.It still is in many states and in many other places around the world so I figured I'd share it. Feel free to use it for your ID

Just out of interest is yours a marriage or Civil Partnership?

Ours is marriage because in Sweden we have what is called "marriage neutrality"
and in LA, California they have marriage now as well. They just had it changed like last year
in june or july. Yours?

Changed in Feb this year! We're going to "upgrade" our CP to a marriage certificate once they allow it (which isn't expected until end of 2014 early 2015 Β

Oooh. That's a pretty long time.
But yeah a lot of couples over here had to do the same thing when the changed it here.
If I remember correctly one of my friends still haven't changed it.

Yeah it's annoying, they say they need to create a policy for it before it can be allowed and it's a complicated thing so will take time. Very frustrating, imo those that are already in a CP should have had priority! But at least we're finally moving forward!

Well, I'm still stuck in Sweden for now.
The first part of the Visa is ready so now it's just the second part left which can take 6 months.

"Cleaning out laptop" = bashing head on brick wall several thousand times until damned thing cooperates.
One of the few things I supported when the UK parliament was going through the political correctness of "equal right marriages" i.e. marriage equality.
