a custom character skin for the upcoming version of Super Mario Bros Crossover.

unlike any other Mario skins, this one is custom made and uses sprites from the GBC game "SpongeBob SquarePants: Legend of the Lost Spatula" (used for NES and GB map skins only, but also exists a 16-bit variation for SNES map skins). music from the latter is used. this one even has it's own map skin.

SpongeBob can collect a Krabby Patty to turn into Super SpongeBob, grab a Bubble Wand to turn his outfit blue and blow bubbles, causing it to pop, and grab a power ring to turn invisible for a while and kill the enemies.

SpongeBob's palette when he obtains the Bubble Wand is actually his Hall Monitor Badge palette and his palette during his invisible star animation is his green and yellow color after he obtains the power ring.
