So haven't been here for awhile and just decided to pop back and in the theme of my old artwork, here's Saphira! I took inspiration from Christopher Paolini's sketches of dragons (Saphira) and put my own take on it! I'm a sucker for canon and I can only hope this is as close to how Saphira looks in the author's head! Still a massive fan clearly! I am in the process of colouring this one so in the near future this girly shall be as bright as she is in the books!Related content

this is better than the film and cover art versions, the latter of which looks way too derpy. Saphira is awfully hot.
If they ever remade the movie, I'd keep Rachel Weisz. And come to think of it, Jeremy Irons and Robert Carlyle too. That was all great casting,I thought. Everyone else was good. The only thing that wasn't good or great was the lead. I'd keep the three I named, take or leave the others, and get rid of the lead. Saphira would look like this, though the existing version isn't bad, and I wouldn't mind that being kept.
The script would be more or less as is, only I'd add more runtime to it, make it longer by including scenes that were left out, like the whole context around the fortune teller. If ever a movie needed to be remade, it's Eragon.
