to be honest I didn't even mean to draw him it sort've just...happened. But anyway ciel's one of my favorite characters do i decided to give him some love ^0^

No i didnt DX Ms. Kovalchik was there, though, but she taught my class. I did see a different teacher that went in Miss Rouse's class though. She was blonde, and was pretty all business, it seemed.

That's what I was going for hahah there's a certain brush on there called 2b pencil i think and it works beautifully. It's truly a great program just a little confusing at first.

But yeah I've noticed sai doesn't have a very good pencil mimicking tool

Its a little bit less than in the middle of the two. I know most of the basics about it now but there's some things that don't make since. But from what I've heard about it it's a really well made program and you can do a lot with it.

UI actually downloaded it a couple weeks ago and never used for the same reason (its intimidating at first.) But once you get used to it it's really rather nice.

O.o did you download?it hahah I felt the same way. But I think trying new programs has really helped me improve. I don't even use said anymore except for the rare case of coloring...hair lol.
And I've done about 3 of them...tbh I should be working on them now but I didn't want to spend my entire weekend doing them.

Most of the buttons in the interface you really don't need to know about at first. Just pull up the main painting tool, and play around with a few of the already created brush presets. It can be as simple as click and paint. Of course once you feel like getting into creating your own brush presets and fancy layer effects, you can really go as deep as you want to go.

A lot of vent art though because i've been going through a little bit of a speed bump i guess you could call it xDD i'm actually kinda pleased with my vent from last night though and i'm thinking of painting it

Ohh lol I used to be the same way. Then I switched to Photoshop because I liked the pencil brush. I may switch to krita.but yeah sai is easy because its an all-in-one.
And what kind of speed bump? Like an art-block? I've probably drawn like 6 hours or more today lol. And only like one thing came out good.

Photoshop is too complicated for me and i dont like that you cant rotate the canvas very easily. at least not in my version
And nah, i actually produced a really good sketch last night.

I just do all the basic stuff in photoshop,nothing fancy for the most part, all you need to do is find a brush you like and start drawing ^0^ but each to their own

Well I mean the last time I drew in ps was when I just got my tablet and I knew nothing about digital art. So who knows, maybe I'd be okay with it now
