Yes, this is the storage room of the school where I worked in Xi'an. Disgusting? Well, it wasn't the only storage room, but this one looked like something from Silent Hill. (It doesn't look too bad, there, with the flash, but the room was in a very poorly lit stairwell, which was also the smoking room. I should have taken a picture of the floor, too, because it was COVERED in ashes.)
