Kind of a little mermaid fanart but a bit twisted XD because in my head the transformation from mermaid/fish would be more realistic and gruesome hahaand i failed on the background as always

Absolutely stunning! I love your style and your lines give such "movement" and mood! YESSS!!
I think the background works really well, as it gives it that darker, more ominous feeling. Dont be so hard on yourself! hehe. although we're always our worst critics.
My only suggestion would be to POSSIBLY add some black/darken it up a bit more in the backround, from the bottom right, so as to bring her out alot more and portray that true feeling of horror/ darkness? It would also help to blend the 2 styles (backround and mermaid)
