Description
Old one but It still looks good. Now the gallery won't look so empty ;D!I copied this from a picture of a model of an online goth shop where I usually go in search of some inspiration for clothes. I really liked the pose and the fabric of the dress in that particular picture. My intention was to practice a colouring technique that I read in a book, which consists in painting the picture in gray tones and then adding colour afterwards. Because it was looking really good in grayscale and everybody seemed to prefer it that way I decided to leave it as it is. It looks a bit realistic and, even though it's not what I first had in mind, it still turned out fine and it's good for practice. Maybe there is hope for me in C.G.
Due to popular demand ;D, here's the website where I got the reference photo from:
Drac-In-A-Box
The photo still exists on the website! Looks smaller than I remember it to be...
The Original Photo
They have great photos! The photographer wasn't only concerned about showing the clothes but also about giving the right feel and atmosphere to it.
The photographer's name is Paolo Frunzio and the model is Valeria Sinistrari.

This is a really outstanding image. I've been browsing a bit to find b/w images of gothic girls to give me ideas for a forthcoming comic book. Glad I spotted this. Any wardrobe stuff I can use as morgue-reference is a good thing. The pose is amazing.

Thanks!
If you like the style I would totally recommend you the site Drac in a Box, where I took the reference photo from. They have great photos, and lovely clothes! Great place to get inspiration for Goth looking stuff!

I'll have to check it out. I'm collecting images right now, and hopefully I can come up with some designs for other characters. Any advice helps there. Have a good one.
