But, yeah, still lovin’ Brave So this is a piece for Merida and her brothers. My sister and I ship them so hard—NON ROMANTICALLY of course, though xx

I wanted to put Merida in purple for a few reasons… 1. I didn’t want to put her in the blue dress just because everyone does so I wanted to switch it up a bit xx 2. I wanted to do the whole “royals wear purple” thing after watching ‘Tangled’ (side note Merida/Rapunzel FTW. *shipshipship*) and noting that Rapunzel wears purple the whole time to hint that she is the lost princess… and 3. because I thought it would be frickin’ adorable if Merida wore her mother’s dress (I tried to go off of the one her mother wore at the very beginning of the movie in the scene where Baby!Merida is playing with Fergus’ bow xx if you wanna see teh dress, it’s in this video a little bit [link] :3 )

Aaaaaand hardest part of this was the frickin’ kilt thing c_c Again, I quite obviously need some tips on drawing fabric… but I /am/ really happy with how it turned out Also, the boy’s hair was tricky at first, but I think I got it. Tips on hair are welcome too
