WOW this took me FOREVER! The metal body of Robot Unicorn almost killed me, but I swore to get it right, and personally I don't think I did a too bad job!

Used Paint Tool SAI for most of this, and I've fallen in love with that program! Its so much better for color and linework than Photoshop.

Anyhoo, about this piece!
Its Andy Bell from Erasure (in his Always video get up) riding Robot Unicorn across the purple-grassed lands of Harmony! (See I can be cheesy if I want to!)

A pretty simple concept really... it was half requested to me by Gav. I was originally just going to draw Robot Unicorn, but he suggested I draw Andy Bell riding him, and it seemed like a pretty damn cool idea. No one else seems to have done this yet as far as I know...

I'm going to send it to Andy Bell too, just to see what he thinks. I hope he likes it.... I get the feeling he will though.

So yeah, I hope you all enjoy this and don't forget to comment and let me have any constructive critique you feel is necessary.

I used references for Andy's face, the way Robo'corn is put together, and its head. I'm aware that the gallop-gait looks a little far fetched, but I wanted to make it have an even more stretched out gait than the best racehorse who ever lived, so yeah... I kept one hoof on the ground though, so you can't accuse me of being like the guys who painted racehorses in the old days...
