elsevilla, I've been following your work and I have to say that you have improved over the years. I love your stylized proportions and I love seeing your color renders evolve from your line work. I have to thank you for your inspiration. Please keep doing what you're doing.

you know, I wasn't to sure what you meant about you stopping to chase realism as I always saw your work as exaggerated and far from realism, so I took the time to look at your work once more, and I see the difference clear as day!Β
studies from life is a great way to improve but when it comes to your work, be free and accept mistakes. I understand now in regards to your own work what you meant.
Keep inspiring!
from a silent appreciator of your work

This one is a lot better - it's sexier and cooler and more bad-ass in every way. You seriously nailed it.Β

I think her abs should be narrower than this because they make her belly look a little on the excess roundness. On the other hand, her face is adorable and I like the hint at an afro.

I like this style a lot. Well done!
If I might offer a bit of unsolicited criticism, I'm not feeling the eyes -- she looks a little cross-eyed, which doesn't work for me personally.

i know some asian women look like that, so it would have been more appropriate on an asian woman. the anatomy is so great.

Great piece, I've had the same thoughts myself about realism vs style vs enjoying it. The end result is almost always an improvement! Nice work

Always love your illustration style man, your work gets better and better. I've realized recently how important having a unique style is to illustrations, and you are the perfect example of why.

Well, it's good to break out of your shell now and then, sometimes it's the only way to grow as an artist.. but I'm the same way, if I break out too much, I lose sight of what I'm good at.

Yeah thats why im constantly do real life sketches, you need anchor, i mean, if i dont draw on my style realism that doesnt mean i dont do exercises, i love real excersices, helps you value more your style.

man, DAT HAIR LINE seriously awesome and very proper of ur style, i love ur WW, really awesome, it doesnt matter the proper anatomy stuff if ur piece has harmony on its own anatomy, she is indeed sexy type instead of warrior type, so mission accomplished man.
