Are such a picky bastards. No, Ho-oh refused to sit in any pokeball, great ball, ultra ball I threw at him (yes he had little to no health, was stunned but I think I threw about 25 ultra balls :<)All it took was one designer ball of Kurt (yes the Friend Ball) to catch him.
You sir, are a picky rainbow turkey.
Also I have more luck catching legendaries in pokeballs than Ultra Balls. I kid you not. I swear it's a retro thing. (Yes I did catch even Mewtwo in a pokeball, it gave me a good laugh)

yeah..its heavy to catch lugia/hooh or the doggies with normal balls...D:
i bought 20 hyperballs...
i wanted to catch him NOT with the masterball.
so i got him to a really low health,got him sleepy or got him paralized....nothing has worked..xD

I remember when I played Yellow, I wasn't paying attention and kept clicking 'A' against Articuno. I ended up catching it without hurting it or giving it a status problem; on the first try too! xD
I don't remember what kind of Pokeball I used, but it must've been an ultraball, considering legendaries could dodge regular pokeballs back then xD

When I tried catching Ho-Oh, it killed my entire team until I had one pokeball, so I had to use the Master ball >.>

I'm rather precious about my Master Balls ... so generally I keep resetting until I get them in anything but a master ball. I once captured Mewtwo in a pokeball ... good times.
Ho-oh does have a tendency of either killing your party ... or himself with struggle and remains one of the most difficult legendaries I've ever caught X3

what happens to the balls that you threw at them? do they just disappear or stay on the ground where you forget to pick them up?
