WOW I've been working on this on-and-off for a good few weeks now since I've been so busy and drawing multiple things oof. But I finally finished it, and I'm decently happy with how it turned out! I've been practicing my backgrounds, and while this isn't like a full-on scenery background, it's got a detailed background nonetheless!

Maridiel's been having trouble sleeping after the war, so he spends his time in his den usually until sunrise playing around and sculpting, using the help of his gravitational skill to help him see all angles on things. He sculpted a hollow mammoth sculpture that he adores out of metal of his armor. He only got it right after lots of practice- you can see some of his earlier sculpts hanging on the vine). He kept one of the blades from his battle talons and sculpted the metal to make a 'handle' to fit in the mouth for skinning the pelts off prey and all that. There's a reason why my boi's a scholar and holy cow he's doing a lot more things than I thought.

Oh and that's a flower crown Fabian gave him hanging over the 'shelf' he sculpted out of the canyon wall.
