Hmm..it is pretty much traditional beneath this one digital layer which was added only to enhance the drawing and emphasize and clear the lines.
However, all those shades in the drawing were done on paper ^^

Not the whole drawing of course. First I worked on that first sketch manually and then I improved the poor scan with a tablet, cleared the drawing and added shadings and light parts. It was not such a trivial job though :/ Lots of parts were blurry and missing (because of my crappy scanner >.>
I think I fell in love with a tablet!
