Description
aka "the Ghost" or "Pale Shadow" Fae Assassin/Spy She secretly works for Rainth, spying on the dark fae for him, on her own people. She was treated quite badly by them growing up because her family is part of a line of powerless fae. They basically have just enough magic to fly and to glow. They are treated as less amongst the rest. She was thought to be just like the rest of her family, but the truth was that she was the first in many generations to have any "extra" magical abilities. She tried to alienate herself from her people as much as possible, and when she learned how to use her magic, that became very easy for her. It also made her quite a good spy and assassin. If she doesn't want to be seen, then she simple isn't. And she can fade into the shadows. A victim may see nothing at all, or if she wants, the last thing they'll see is her face. It depends on her mood. So, having no warm feelings toward her people, made accepting Rainth's job offer easy. And that is where she met Lerrik, Rainth's advisor/best friend. The two of them make an odd couple.Watercolor, ink, goauche, watercolor pencil, and prismacolor pencil.

Lovely... the expression is perfect. Inquisitve but dangerous. You have such skill. Her hand... the one holding the dagger, seems a tad small to the other one, but all in all, beautiful.

The knife is wicked! Curved blades are my favorite, since they follow the natural flow of most strikes. Also, Elekcis' posture is perfect . Well done.

her face is amazing, infact your avatar is what drew me to look at your works. her hair and hooded cloak are also good (thoguh i find it a little odd that her ears should be sticking out the sides (did her hood start off as hair?)). the end of her pony tail thoguh looks perhaps a little i don't know, almsot cartoony. and the same goes for her left arm/hand. i also think the corsette/dress should perhaps go in a little more at the waist (if you look jsut above the hilt of her blade you may see what i mean). and the breasts could perhaps look a little more defined. (this may sound like i'm complaining that she doesn't have the right body shape, that's not what i am saying, some things jsut don't look quite right). also the black thing, the mirror or gate or whatever it is, could perhaps have just a little too much highlighting; i know that is a really petty thing to comment on, but it just makes it looks a little overly shiny. i'm also not too keen on the wings(?) but that's probably more of a personal prefferance. i hope i am not being to negative. i think this is fantastic. especially her face. and her right arm/hand looks almost real.

Well, as for her ear, I just wanted it to show. No, it didn't start off as hair. I don't really know why I did it; it was just one of those weird things that came out while sketching.

Oooh this rocks!! I've always told everybody I wanted to be an Elven assassin when I grew up.. this is awesome. definitely going in the faves, if not for just refreshing my dreaming of being an elf who's an assassin.. but also because it's a gorgeous picture. I love her expression. so devious.

i really love the border, the cloak, the mischevious expression, the wings are very pretty and fitting too! One thing though, the left hand looks a little akward, can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something bugging me about it. Other than that, it's a beautiful painting, and deserves a

I love the way you've shaded it, especially her face - it all looks so smooth and flawless! Her face is very enigmatic, too, the viewer can see she is considering something, but it remains a mystery, what it is... I also like how her ear sort of protrudes through the hood, a very quaint effect
And the background is great, too. The pattern on the arch is impressive with its elegant curves, and it amzaes me how patient you must have been with it
All in all, a very lovely and intriguing painting; her mood is queer... standing there, with a dagger in her hand, she seems to be smiling as a mother would looking at her playing child. Is she cherishing the thought of revenge? Perhaps...
