Young Radu cel Frumos (circa 1435-1475) the Voivode of Wallachia, Beylerbeyi and Pasha of Wallachia, younger brother of Vlad Tepes and a favorite of Emperor Mehmed II. What kind of beauty that boy could be so that Sultan will fall in love with him? He trusted this boy the Kingdom of Romania.

Besides being inspired by story of Radu the Beautiful, I wrote a small poem from Mehmed point of view, and the very interesting fact is that I has written it before I discovered that he, the Emperor was in fact a poet himself, and his pen name was Avni. Many poems of his poems I found quite homoerotic and it's very revealing for me.

Divine masterpiece

"O beautiful boy! When the wind brings the fragrant aroma of your clothes and tresses, my heart starts to beat rapidly. When I see your cypress-like silhouette dressed in the exquisite silk, I cease to know anyone else but you. I apologize before God because I wished to freezing the time of that moment when you cast your glance on me -- I looked at you for all eternity. Your divine face outshines the radiance of the full moon: white cheeks framed by dark as night curls, which have chained me to your eyes, deep as two blue lakes with waters that mirror the twinkle of the bright stars. Oh Gazelle-eyes! The daggers of your eyelashes are killing me with their beauty. When confused you lower your eyes. Like a stricken warrior on the battlefield, yearning for your love I couldn’t fight with myself when I watched you walk away. Once again I’m convinced that nobody can compete with your splendor and glory, even I, the Sultan who owns the overwhelming wealth of an immense Empire. You, o beautiful boy! The only one who possesses me. Like an Angel you were sent by God to deliver a message: with beauty of yours you prove how talented our Master is. Alas, to the Lord alone you belong, and to the Lord alone I pray so that He will give me his masterpiece -- you. I don’t deserve you, but if you'll ever wish to grant me mercy, just tell me when He’ll condescend to favor me with you. He made you perfect, so that seeing your grace all will be convinced the unlimited power of your Creator; and fall in love with you they will understand how inevitable His will and His marvelous designs. The rising sun, the blooming gardens, the flowing streams and falling snow is an art of the Almighty God that pours me with a poetic inspiration, but they cannot compete with your smile -- that alone makes me dedicate hundreds of poems about undying love. You are the matchless treasure created for admiration and adoration of the true aesthetes of beauty and poetry, without any doubts the proof of the greatness of God".
