It's been a while since I've posted critiques! My vocabulary might be rusty... Anyway, here goes:

I love the way the owl "looks". Most especially that the background is blurred, suggesting that 'you'( i mean, whoever viewing this artwork) were looking far ahead, say, a beehive, 'cause, you know why.
As of originality, I haven't seen any other deviation looking almost like this. I often see animals close to staring at nowhere(no offense).
The style really suits this artwork, which seems to take place in a sunny day in a forest. I like how the owl's eye reflection look natural! There's also a bunch of texture shown here, although it's like most of the work was done on the head more than the body. But nice job on making the owl's face, i dunno, come alive(I don't exactly know how to properly describe it, but I think I just did xD)?
The impact, like I mentioned earlier(or maybe not), gives me the feels like it's a photo that's been taken somewhere in the woods. Usually i see drawn animals that feature human facial expression. But unlike those drawings, this shows feelings, mainly curiosity, more than if its face was "human-ified". If then, it would seem like a cartoon.

If you notice how I constructed this critique, yes, I did write those paragraphs in symmetry to the rating! Hopefully this critique is fair. So far, this deviation looks great! Keep up the good work! UwU
