This is a staircase that conduce to the underground of the Opera House..
And it reminds me SO MUCH of the Phantom of the Opera that I have to submit it..
And this is the end of the Opera series..
Even if there were several shots I like, I think that six shots for a series are even too much..
So.. Hope you like this one too..

Absolutely beautiful. You chose such a lovely angle to showcase all the carvings and filigree. Obviously I am not a professional nor an advanced student of photography, but even so I can tell that this a fantastic photograph. Quick question, was this taken in the Garnier, or a different theater. If it is a different location would you mind telling me the location? Awesome! I would love to see this in person! Though the movie and musical were excellent, I still think the book is by far the best. Ever since I read the book ages ago I've wanted to visit the Paris Opera House. Thanks for sharing this photo!

wow, this is very lovely. The only thing to improve the shot (and it is very minor) would be to fix the vertical lines by doing a 'free transform' in photoshop. It's a little tricky, but makes architecture shots look more natural. Still a great photo without adjustment...

my fav. of the series, by far!! i cant believe the detail in every little part of the building. it is so beautiful in pictures, i think i would be completely blown away if i saw it in person. did you go see the little river under the house? i believe that is all that is under there isnt it? after seeing your pictures, i have decided i have to go one day, its too beautiful not to. fantastic work on the series!!!
