Description
This is the entrance to the *Galilean Accademy of Arts and Sciences* located in the Carraresi's palace..Carraresi Family ruled in Padova in the Medieval Age, and this was their Palace..
A great place, full of Beauty and History..
I like the way in which the tree unite the Arch and the Portico..

Excellent use of the arch as a frame to the shot - there's a certain harmony between the man-made and nature, given the way the trees interact with the rest of the scene. Perhaps this shows man's desire to understand, and subsequently, conquer nature? Most interesting! ^_^

It take the observer from one to the other..

Purtroppo l'esposizione non è andata molto a segno in questa foto (contrariamente alla foto della Specola che invece era eccellente). Le parti in luce sono bianco puro... mentre l'albero è leggermente sottoesposto.
Ma non è la foto ad essere sbagliata, erano le condizioni di luce che erano contrarie allo scatto. Credo che si potesse fare ben poco...
Grazie comunque per averci offerto anche questo scorcio di Padova che (mi tocca ammetterlo) non conoscevo.

credo che i problemi nati con il filtro che ho applicato, perchè prima non mi dava proprio questa idea..
L'albero era verde intenso, ma non sottoesposto.. le colonne forse si, erano un po' troppo "luminose" ma forse perchè ci batteva il sole..
Comunque non ne sono particolarmente contenta..
Vedrò di rifarla..

la composizione è motlo bella, ma devi stare attenta a settare "il bianco" per evitare gli eccessivi riflessi!

se trovo uno scanner decente mi metterò a scansire un pò di immagini... ho ancora le foto di quest'estate da pubblicare... e delle foto fatte con l'analogico ne avrò scansite... boh... 2 al massimo! sono un pò in ritardo... però appena le tiro su te le passo!
