No I don't think they resemble them actually. The though never occur to me as well. There must be because of the colors but is still quite vague imo ^^

Love what you did with the wings, so subtle and brilliant! Favorite part has to be the glittery-ness...I'm really curious on how to do that!

The wings was a bit problematic at first because I'm not use to draw them, but I'm glad I've managed to make look pretty XD for the glitter part, I've only used simple brushes ^w^ I really like shiny stuff, so I enjoy a lot to add this things >w<

Basically, was different brushes (I usually make my own), just dots with different opacity/size. It seems to shine because I've worked with colors on the dress before ^^

Yes, I designed the dress too but didn't design it without the arm sleeve things and jacket in mind... I felt like I had so much going on already but all your little touches were perfect.
