For me my friend it has served me well and never failed in my hands i've used many excellent rifles HK G3A3,FN FALs,Steyr Aug,a restored STG-44 that had entered my lab (i'm a Military History researcher)
so many weapons passed through my hands. Β The AK and its many worldwide variants are still at the top of my list of weapons that i enjoy shooting during my recreational time. Β I will not insult other weapons
not my style and i hate that stupid argument it gets us no where everyone has their favorites.

multiple times some goofball would get mad and try to argue whats the best rifle in the world i'd just not get into it with them its a really ridiculous argument. Β I forgot to say my other favorite rifle is the Bushmaster ACR. Β

Do you know the G11 prototype weapon with caseless ammo? I meet a guy , he was in a german army unit doing some field test uses and shooting tests. I see one of the the prototype weapons in live at the "wehrtechnische Studiensammlung" in Koblenz/rhine. Fascinating system, but ugly like hell..

my family was stationed in Germany from 1982-84 my dad worked Audio visual unit in the USAF and he told me and had images of such weapon. Even he thought it was ugly as hell he liked the Bundeswehr G3A3 which during my family's time in Ramstein AFB he told me of the Luftwaffe security people along side the USAF Security people was armed with the G3A3. Β I thought the caseless ammo was so weird today as a weaponology military researcher as well it was up their with ahead if it's time weapons.

cool! I was able to get my hands on the PTR-91 civilian model and it love its accuracy and sights. Β The only thing I don't like about the Ak-47 is the iron sights but when you place a good red dot on it the AK improves. Β I was 2-4 years old and what I remember about Ramstein was from my dad's betamax videos of the family. Β I always love your countries flecktarn pattern camouflage!
