i think even in the year 40000 the Imperial guard would be happy to have this hold over from the 20th century. 12.7mm 50 caliber bullet. gonna say ello to some chaos marines helmet ^_^

I think that caliber is there in the 40 millenium. There are minis with a weapon like the cal.50(the old tank crew/mechanics) and some tanks and vehicles, too. The heavy stubber is discribed in the german translation of the novels as .30 but why not cal.50 too?
I think the guard knows what a good caliber is..
