Description
Galaxy
Lunar Unicorn Marking
Represented by the genomic letters Gax
Galaxy is a unique gene exclusive to the illusive Lunar horses. The gene causes the crest membranes of male Lunar horses to sport a sparkling, star like pattern. The spots have a natural sort of iridescence to them, causing the skin to literally sparkle and shine when the head moves. The coloration of these stars is always a slightly lighter, near white color to the membranes natural color. Only the stallions of this species visually express this color. Mares who inherit a copy of Galaxy, and thus lack the membrane, don’t express this marking and are notated as carriers.
