Tiger - Dragon Marking

Tiger is a genetic dragon marking gene found in Elysium's Invasive Dragon Species. Tiger causes stripes all over the dragons body which very in style. Some striping may be very simple and drip down from the topline of the dragon. Other expressions produce dragons with very similar stripes to that of earthly tigers. Stripes may paint the face of the dragon but never touch the feet. These stripes are also ALWAYS darker than the base coat, often times lightening naturally dark coats so that stripes are visible.

The amount of striping can also vary. Sometimes painting the entire body of the dragon while other times just lightly painting the topline of the dragon with some light striping n the tail. Horns and spikes that stripes touch will also darken as a result. Tiger stripes will also express on fur, producing dark lines that reflect the pattern hidden under the fuzz.
