Description This is a manip I have been meaning to do for a while, because once I saw this picture, I knew I had to, and I was already playing around with my editor making the cover for the soundtrack when I remembered this.
So, Simone and Erik. After Simone has gone blind, she thinks she can feel and see him even when he is not there. In her dreams she can see his face, but in the waking world she can't. I would assume this would be during the months when she is living with her brother and is trying to convinve herself that because she is blind she is bad for Erik. Bla bla bla, fluff, fluff, fluff.

He knew what he had to do, doesn't mean he won't hate himself for it. And yeah, I tend to get that reaction a lot, even my school teachers called my stories heartless a cruel, in the 3rd grade

Well I wouldn't say heartless, I mean it could have ended differently like instead she gets her sight back. But really the ending is guilty pleasure I am sad for the characters but it was good. You made me feel for the character, know what he meant. That means you are a great writer.

I try to make my characters and their deaths make an impression on people, which means in this case I am doing my job. I don't give my characters pointless deaths, they mean something. In the case of Blind to the World, Simone's death helped develop Erik as a character and his role as a father, or in Tip of a Blade, Celeste gave her life to save those she cared about. I try my best

Ya but please next time you write a character DON'T MAKE DEATH!!! Just do that and end it happy ending no sequel. You can add sad stuff like in ghost of the sea, that was good
