ah, that top sketch reminds me of my early days of designing bipedal, flat looking profiles of alien fauna... it's great!

I advise that you go heavier on the shading though... it took me awhile to grasp that concept, but after you study some objects, and the way in which light reflects and casts shadows, you will really be able to display more form in your designs...

but, I babble on... continue to sketch! XD

thanks for the tip! im working on the shading its just that i never really took any art classes in school so i have buying books on sketching and stuff but i really appreciate the feed back it certainly helps alot

seriously? that's a shame... your school does not offer art courses?

hmmm, regardless, I know it sounds boring (and trust me, it is), but if you do study objects and the way they interact with a light source, your ability to draw acurate shadows and reflections will quickly improve... am I accidentaly repeating myself?

no youre fine! my high school has an art class just that i didnt take cause i took a class that i regret that i took but i made sure i got art for nxt year.
