Here's a sketch card commission of Dagger. The buyer wanted her to look like she was turned to stone, and I must say that it was a fun challenge.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was a wooden statue because of the tan colors.

what I really like about this, is how it veers slightly away from your usual look.
not to suggest that there's anything wrong with having a style, or look...it's simply all the more impressive when people can demonstrate that they have more tricks up their sleeve.

I haven't suggested that there's no variety. I'm saying that this particular image didn't immediately strike me as one of yours. Where as there are others, that I'd be able to pick out of a line up.
But again. There isn't anything wrong with having a look. Quite frankly, all of my favourite professionals do.
