IIRC, this was the first video game (either it, or its 'sister' game, DRAGON'S LAIR, was the first to use real, full-motion animation. The game loaded the animation from Laser Disc based on what 'choices' the player made. Pretty damned high-tech in its day; I called it The Game That Ate My Paycheck.
Bonus fun fact: the animation was done by the famous Bluth studios, who also are renowned for the animated features ANASTASIA, ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN, SECRET OF NIMH, and AMERICAN TAIL, as well as an animated segment of the movie XANADU.

It became a little lighter once I blended the colored pencils, but I was satisfied with how it turned out, so I left it.
