Still an odd concept! I'm so used to Nicki colorful and wow! so I can hardly imagine her with less than 5 colors on her! It'd be interesting if she made a video in white and black...

It'll be odd based on what a person has seen before. I doubt when people say it reminds them of minaj that they are focusing on the barbie shock of colour she comes with. There are other aspects of her image that are as easily identifiable as colours. The hair and make-up volume are enough as well as other observations that can be made from her image. Differing opinions are all valid though, its art.

I agree with you. There's a huge visual impact based on both volume and color and I guess other stuff too. Personally, I'm not a fan of Nicki (I'm more of a hipster xD) but I know she has her own style of art.
