OK, since the last WIP, it seems as if not much has been done, but I discovered I was actually using a male ref photo... Can't blame me though, the dolls on dreamofdoll.com all look like females...

Anyway I am now using a female ref photo, so had to do A LOT of tweaking. I am hoping it looks a bit more feminine now.

This face is basically going to be the "mask" covering and protecting the circuitry behind it.

It's looking good, man. And freaky. Is it supposed to be freaky? It reminds me of one of the little dolls in the Silent Hill game I've been playing recently.

Thanks Yup its definitely supposed to look a bit creepy. The face is basically a solid protective cover for the robotics and circuitry underneath (think terminator 2ish). It will look at little bit like the female bots in this Bjork film clip [link] with thick dreadlocks and attack claws.


... Well that's the plan anyway.
