Description Orogeny (the creation of mountains through geological processes) is over for this version. The tectonic plates of the world meet, their different heights blend, and mountains shoot up along the meeting line between the plates. The mountains have variation and varied patterns, and the deeper into the mountains you venture, the taller they get. There is a LOT of science that has been oversimplified to get this far, but the sciences used are working, and the ones not used have been identified and plans are being drawn up for how to implement them next time I escalate the details.

I am going to be looking at subduction and rifts next, i.e. how some plates do not form mountains, but instead valleys. After that, erosion, and then the major pieces of landscape formation should be in the bag, so to speak. Which means that I can then (and only then) begin to look at how to make LIFE develop on worlds.
