But I didn't even work that hard on it... I think I spent more time coming up with the name than I did on the actual coloring...though I did spend quite a bit of time on the design.

lol, sometimes its the lack there of that helps make something great.
Tell the truth when I start really thinking about how I am drawing I get lost and start messing with the lines too much instead of just letting them flow out on the paper.
I really do think it looks nice
You got the size and colors listed. If you really wanted to go all out you could make it bigger like some of the others I have seen where they do different angles or faces that the character might make.

Thanks. Yeah, I thought about doing that...maybe now that he's an official character of mine I will enlarge the canvas and draw some in there. But knowing me, it's probably more likely that I'll be lazy and won't do it.

Thank youuu. And alas, being not a history nerd, I did not know that. But I derived it from "Raja", which is royalty in India or somethin'. I wanted his name to have "regal" connotations, at any rate, since his design was inspired by the Emperor Dragon Webkinz.

Well, his name is regal, and his design is regal too. And I thought it sort of looked like the Emperor dragon, but now that you say so, I really can see it! But it's enough of your own design too. ^^
