Description
He was a skater boy, and I said you took forever boy—Ah, a fine addition to my Transformers collection. This bud was fun but a itty-bitty complicated to design (because of the details). Yet I am happy with the results, nonetheless. Finding what I wanted for this character was simple, for as soon as I figured out the basics of his personality, I knew what I wanted to go for. If I was going to be making a Transformer that could never keep still, I wanted to give him a form that made it look impossible to do so; wheels placed as feet, and even triangular and curvy form language, which in Fever's case represents direction and movement. Keeping his youth in mind, I wanted him to look as young as he was supposed to be. And this was accomplished with the large, round, energetic eyes, and the thin, curvy, masculine build.
The reason I went for the white, gold, and black color palette was because of their psychology.
- For him, white represented his goodness and cleanliness.
- The gold/yellow stood for his energy, youth, and cowardice.
- And the black means he is confident with his own appearance, rebellious, fearful, and strong.
