PCBC 2 PREVIEW to scraps later

Man am I excited that the second tourney is here.

This is only a draft guys, I might change some of their names last minute. Also, Kay and Corey will look different on the finalized ref sheet. (Though I'll probably reuse the sketches.)

AND YES I AM GOING TO ENTER AN ALL FIRE TYPE TEAM. YEAHZ!

Kay's team:
Houndoom
Nickname: Shadow (Formerly known as Sleek) ::To-be Registered in PCBC 2
Gender: Male
Nature: Lonely
Ability: Flash Fire
Moveset: 1) Dark Pulse 2) Heat Wave 3) Sunny Day 4) Sludge Bomb
Held Item: Heat Rock (Causes sunlight to intensify for 8 turns instead of five.)
Back story: After the first PCBC, Sleek ran into a crossroad, when Kay reunited with her brother, his older trainer, Kenneth. Should he go back to the one he had not grown up nor trained with? Or should he stick with the trainer who had been through with him thick and thin, and also someone he unwillingly admitted he actually knew better? Either way, after his decision, Sleek now known as "Shadow" has lately become one of Kay's best powerful fighters.

Charizard
Nickname: Frieza ::To-be Registered in PCBC 2
Gender: Female
Nature: Brave
Ability: Blaze
Moveset: 1) Flare Blitz 2) Solarbeam 3) Aerial Ace 4) Focus Blast
Held Item: Quick Claw (Gives the holder an 18.75% chance of going first)
Back story: Another one of Kay's most powerful fighters, however probably also the most insecure of the group. Frieza is constantly worrying about her appearance ("Am I cute?") and the fact that she is a downright klutz. Frieza also constantly has new crushes, only to have them shattered by stupid mistakes, klutzy or accidental. Rash, and impulsive on many occasions, she is very grateful for having Kay as an awesome trainer, but freaks out so bad when any punk male lover candidate comes by her path, sometimes she flies backwards and hits herself.

Numel
Nickname: Pon ::To-be Registered in PCBC 2
Gender: Male
Nature: Naive
Ability: Oblivious
Moveset: 1) Earthquake 2) Lava Plume 3) Mud Bomb 4) Rock Slide
Held Item: Passho Berry (Lowers effect of super effective water moves)
Back story: If a Numel is simply a "sleepy" walking volcano cow thing, then what is Pon with his insomnia? Most likely, the reason for this insomnia is due to the fact that Pon wants to be awake for his first eruption. "Is it here yet? Is it here yet? Gosh, when is it going to happen? I think I'm going to EXPLODE ...!!" Oh yeah, Pon likes candy.

Gastrodon (West sea)
Nickname: Katya ::NOT to be registered in PCBC 2
Gender: Female
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Storm Drain
Moveset: 1) Muddy Water 2) Earthquake 3) Ice Beam 4) Whirlpool
Held Item: Mystic Water (Enhances Water Types)
Back story: Katya's story is a life filled of the sea, ...and of slime. As a pyromanic, Kay has learned to exploit all angles of the fiery art, and with the neighbors complaining of the forest-sized fires she's setting, she also has full responsibility to...unwillingly put it out.

Sneasel
Nickname: Scorn ::NOT to be registered in PCBC 2
Gender: Female
Nature: Rash
Ability: Keen Eye
Moveset: 1) Ice Beam 2) Faint Attack 3) Agility 4) Metal Claw
Held Item: Bright Powder (Raises the holder's Evasion by 10%.)
Back story: Captured during one of Kay's fire training sessions. (Kay's reasoning, was that its no fun burning something that can't combust easily.) Though the two have bonded after their brash encounter, Scorn, is smug of the fact that Kay relies alot on her, due to those nasty dragon types.

Spinda
Nickname: Ruby ::NOT to be registered in PCBC 2
Gender: Female
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Own Tempo
Moveset: 1) Teeter Dance 2) Rollout 3) Thrash 4) Seismic Toss
Held Item: Jaboca Berry (Causes recoil on foe if hit by a physical move)
Battle story: Not much was heard of since Kay was defeated in the first PCBC, and neither were her Pokémon. Though it is to note that Ruby's original trainer was a friend of Kay's, Ruby has hitched along the ride to the second PCBC, literally, by stowing herself away in Corey's backpack.

Gender: Male
Nature: Quiet
Ability: Blaze
Moveset: 1) Eruption 2) Flame Wheel 3) Solarbeam 4) Earthquake
Held Item: Charcoal (Enhances Fire types)
Back story: Soina is the wisest of the whole group, (and also the quietest), and thats saying alot, when you're grouped with rash, impulsive, non-thinkers...! (such is the nature of fire). However, though his actions are always thought through, it is not to say that they are meek and hesitating. Soina can rival some of Kay's very powerful forces.

Nickname: Cinder ::To-be Registered in PCBC 2
Gender: Female
Nature: Timid
Ability: Flash Fire
Moveset: 1) Ominious Wind 2) Flamethrower 3) Sunny Day 4) Extrasensory
Held Item: Heat Rock (Causes sunlight to intensify for 8 turns instead of five.)
Back story: One of Blaze's offspring, Cinder has the same ruffled fur as her father, but is frightened of most things. However her love for her trainer can perhaps bring out the fullest potential in this little fire furball.

Chimchar

Nature: Naughty
Ability: Blaze
Moveset: 1) Blaze Kick 2) Fire Punch 3) Taunt 4) Brick Break
Held Item: Focus Band (May allow a Pokémon to survive an otherwise fatal attack with 1 HP.)
Back story: The troublemaker of the group, Corey is a bad influence on this mischievous fella. Raile is many times caught in the middle of trouble. Big bad (explosive!) trouble. Perhaps due to his cheeky taunts.

Gender: Male
Nature: Adament
Ability: Intimidate
Moveset: 1) Discharge 2) Thunderbolt 3) Ice Fang 4) Shockwave
Held Item: Shell Bell (Restores a small amount of HP whenever the Pokémon holding it deals damage)
Back story: As the Pride leader of his "team", Blackout is very protecting of his team and of his group. A pity he will not be fighting in PCBC 2.

Long story short, Corey stole/took Strafe away from Kay so he could blackmail her into joining PCBC 2 with him. Strafe's thoughts? He thinks Corey is awesome. Traitor.
